Here’s what Jeanne Nebrida, a marine bio student intern from the University of Eastern Philippines, had to say regarding their challenging yet rewarding month-long internship at the NFRDI-MFRDC:
“We gained more than we expected. We were overwhelmed by the knowledge we thought we would not have.
To all of the NFRDI staff and employees, thank you for exerting your efforts and sharing with us your expertise. All of you did not only help us with the enhancement of our research skills, but you also molded us to be responsible workers in the near future. Thank you so much. We will treasure the bond that we shared, even for a short period of time.”
Nebrida expressed her gratitude to NFRDI during the closing program of the UEP internship at MFRDC last July 31, 2023. She was the batch leader who represented the group of 15 interns from UEP.
